At the DoSeum, Candlewood fourth graders had the opportunity to explore all sorts of STEM concepts. They got their hands on to robotics, built circuits, and had a scavenger hunt to learn about sound waves and energy forms. They got to investigate 3 stations. At the snap circuits station they built different circuits to produce lights and sounds. At the robotics station they had the chance to design and build a pet alarm letting the owner know when to feed the pet. Finally, for the scavenger hunt, they went through the light and sound area trying to identify which activities used electricity. What a fun trip!!

Each campus has its own way of celebrating the Christmas season and sharing it with the community. Paschall Elementary School recently invited parents and anyone who wanted to be enchanted by great student performances. It's their way of wishing Merry Christmas to all and to all a happy holiday!

Christmas time is a great opportunity to practice the gift of sharing. Wagner Senior and Junior class officers sponsored an Angel Tree for Candlewood Elementary students. They then delivered all of the gifts and took some great snapshots with the principal, Ms. Andrea Johnson... and Joshua Friaga even got to reminisce with Mrs. White. Sharing gifts and sharing time.

'Tis the Season for giving! At Ed Franz Elementary, the staff works hard to encourage students to be active members of their communities. A former Franz student exemplified this by donating turkeys and baskets with all of the trimmings to five Franz families! What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season!
