The Election day results are in and below are the results for the two contested races on the Judson ISD School Board. 

JISD Trustee, District 6

Renee A. Paschall 1046 (55%)

Thomas E. (Tom) England 848 (45%)

JISD Trustee, District 7

Lynette Perez  642 (34%)

Willie J. Black, Jr 520 (27%)

Christopher Galloway 511 (27%)

Walter Harchut 235 (12%)


New Faces On The JISD Board

In a special meeting of the Judson ISD Board of Trustees, five members were sworn in...three were newcomers to the board. County Commissioner Precinct 4 Tommy Calvert was on hand to officiate the oath of office for new members Suzanne Kenoyer (District 1), Debra Eaton (District 3) and Jennifer Rodriguez (District 5). These new faces were elected as a result of the May 6th election. Incumbents Richard La Foille (District 2) and Jose Macias (District 4) who ran unopposed were also sworn in to serve new terms.  Congratulations to these trustees. 

Election Coming Up! Get Important Information

Judson ISD will have some important decisions for voters to make in the upcoming May 6th election.  A $60 million dollar bond proposal involving Veterans Memorial High School and three positions on the JISD Board of Trustees will be on the ballot.  Information on early voting, the issues and races are all within a click.  Please let your voice be heard and vote.  




2016 Bond: Thank You To Judson ISD Voters

Judson ISD voters approved $214 million of the 2016 Bond in an important election that will be instrumental in the positive direction of the education of our students. The following message is one of appreciation from JISD Superintendent Dr. Carl A. Montoya to voters who both participated and supported the bond. 


2016 JISD Bond, Early Voting Starts

This is just a reminder that Early Voting has started and will run from April 25-30 and May 2-3, 2016.  The 2016 JISD Bond is on the ballot and we want to encourage you to vote. Below are the Early Voting times and sites for your convenience.  

Voters participating in the 2016 JISD Bond Election must reside within the Judson ISD boundaries. 

Please make sure you bring your voter registration card and a valid ID.
