Peter Pan, Jr. What A Show!

The much anticipated first ever production from the JISD Summer Fine Arts Academy Peter Pan, Jr. was a wonderful show and the audience that came out to see it each night seemed to love it. The musical featured a talented cast of Judson ISD students across the grades that performed at an incredibly high level. The set and the production quality were great and it showed how hard these kids worked and how much fun they were having all at the same time.  A hearty congratulations and thank you to Producer Linda Adami, Director Johnny Tejeda, and Assistant Director Carl Dickerson.

The evening was capped off with a big thank you poster from the cast to Superintendent Dr. Jeanette Ball who created the whole concept of a Summer Fine Arts Academy and the show it produced. It looks like it'll be something exciting to look for each summer!

2019 Summer College Planning Boot Camp

Think that college is not really an option for your child? Think again. Because of events like the 2019 Summer College Planning Boot Camp, incoming 9th graders can intentionally plan their next four years out so they dial up their college admission chances in a major way. These students worked with knowledgable experts to formulate their goals in academics, course taking, leadership, and service...all within the mindset of college readiness and admissions as the vision.

These "Rising 9th Graders" will be entering high school intentional in the clubs, organizations, and activities in which they plan to participate to prepare themselves to become competitive candidates for the college of their choice and scholarships to help pay for it.

Judson ISD and Mychal Wynn partnered together for this event. Mr. Wynn is an author, educator, college planning expert, and motivational speaker who has a wealth of knowledge students benefit from all the time. We thank him for his time and efforts.
