Got Bond Work Near You? See The Progress - VIDEO

The 2016 and 2017 Bonds are really on a roll and many of the biggest projects are currently turning dirt and making progress.  While it’s all going on, we want to make sure that you are in the loop and know what to expect and how long to expect it.  The video below will show you some of the major work that’s going on within the district…there’s a good chance some of it’s close to you. Take a look and see what your tax dollars are doing.

First Day At Our Newest School, Escondido

The first day of school was no ordinary one for a lot of reasons, but especially for Judson ISD's newest school.  Escondido Elementary School opened its doors to students the first day of school with brand new classrooms, playgrounds and included visits from the news media and new superintendent Dr. Jeanette Ball. Wow, what a day!  The school is the result of taxpayers approving the 2016 bond.

Stay In The Bond Construction Loop

Between the 2016 and 2017 bonds that voters passed, there is a lot of dirt being turned and heavy equipment rolling around the district footprint.  We want you to know what's going so you can see what your tax dollars are doing and we want you to be prepared for any construction work that could affect you or your child over the coming weeks and months.  We ask for your patience and support while we try to advance this work with as little inconvenience as possible.

The link below is a running list of projects that have been completed, in progress or are still going through pre-construction planning.

Facilities and Planning Committee Meeting

The JISD Operations Department will be hosting a Buildings and Facilities meeting at Woodlake Hills Middle School August 7, 2018, from 6pm to 8pm in the cafeteria. There is a lot of construction going on within Judson ISD and this is your chance to be in the loop and watch the district develop.

This will be a time to discuss updates regarding the bond and construction projects throughout the district. We look forward to seeing you there.
